Alfred Vong is a Bay Area native who completed both his undergraduate degree and optometry degree at UC Berkeley. He completed his primary care/ocular disease residency at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. He is currently a staff optometrist at Kaiser Permanente Union City and an assistant clinical professor at UC Berkeley’s Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry and Vision Science. He is active in his local society, currently serving as the president of the San Mateo County Optometric Society and past -president of the Bay Area Optometric Council. In his free time, you can find him eating and traveling way too much, and cheering on the San Francisco Giants.
