Bio

Dr. Kalina Grimm is originally from Portland, Oregon, but has strong ties in the Bay Area. She completed her undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley in Molecular Environmental Biology B.S. and then went on to receive her optometry degree at UC Berkeley School of Optometry (Go Bears!). She continued her optometric training by completing a primary care residency at the SF VA Medical Center. She has a passion for primary care, ocular disease, and low vision. Beyond her interests in optometry, she loves spending time with family, hiking with friends, and caring for her growing indoor plant collection.

Eva chung, OD

Bio

Dr. Eva Chung, an East Bay native, pursued her passion for science and athletics at UC Davis, where she majored in Biological Sciences and was also a Division I swimmer. She continued her academic journey at the Southern California College of Optometry, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and is now the Primary Care & Community Health Resident at UC Berkeley.

Deeply committed to giving back to her community, she is thrilled to be returning to her Bay Area roots. Dr. Chung was named the 2024 Indian Health Service (IHS) Student of the Year and has also received Asian American Optometric Society, Alcon, CooperVision, and MBKU Board of Trustee awards.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Chung enjoys trying new recipes, working out, and catching up on the latest Netflix shows.
