Bio

Dr. Junge graduated with honors from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry where she also completed her residency training in Low Vision and Ocular Disease. When she is not seeing patients at Rockridge Optometry, Dr. Junge is working on her PhD in Vision Science on the UC Berkeley campus where she also teaches in the optometry program. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Junge enjoys traveling, hiking, and fishing with her husband, watching Jeopardy, and cheering on her California Golden Bears.

Bio

Dr. Sarah Kochik is honored to serve as the next President of ACCCOS. Dr. Kochik is a part-time clinical instructor in the Myopia Control Clinic at UC Berkeley and is currently working toward a PhD researching myopia treatments. Upon completion of her PhD, she hopes to join the faculty at an optometry school, combining clinical practice with her passion for teaching.

In her free time, she enjoys exploring Berkeley with her dog, Leo, ice skating, and taking Pure Barre classes.

Anne Tasaki, OD, FAAO

Bio

Dr. Anne Tasaki received her optometry degree and completed her residency in pediatrics and primary care at the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry (UCBSO). Currently Dr. Tasaki is a full-time clinical instructor in the pediatrics and primary care clinics at UCBSO where she teachers third year optometry students as well as mentors the current pediatrics, primary care and community health residents. She also provides comprehensive vision care to preschool students in lower income communities through the non-profit See Well to Learn Program with Prevent Blindness Northern California. Dr. Tasaki is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is also Co-director of Education for the Alameda and Contra Costa Counties Optometry Society. She also currently serves on the Admissions Committee and the Continuing Education Committee for UCBSO.

Dr. Tasaki enjoys hiking and trail running in her free time. She also loves ice cream.
