Coming Together to Assist ACCCOS Docs with Property Damage

Our board is thinking of ways to help those that have suffered from property damage from the recent civil unrest, which includes financial assistance and other donations.

Could you fill out this form by July 10, 2020 (https://forms.gle/s9RKSEtSBw2mSrhK9if your practice has been affected so we can better serve you?

We also encourage our members to come together and help those in need. Please use our Facebook group to post any donations you are willing to make for these practices, including extra equipment, frames, and anything you see could be helpful.

You can also email acccos.communications@gmail.com if you'd like to post donations on our website and monthly newsletter.

We hope you are staying safe out there, and we hope to see you in person soon.

Sincerely,

The ACCCOS board

Alameda County PPE orders now being distributed by ACCCOS

Attention members and non members!

*Only for doctors practicing in Alameda County*:

The Alameda County EMS Director contacted ACCCOS to see if we could help distribute the county's free PPE to optometrists practicing in Alameda County. They are inundated and need our help. We are looking into whether we can do something similar in Contra Costa County.

We have coordinated with Alameda EMS and local storage companies to set up a PPE pick up in front of Dr. Melanie Mason's house in Livermore for the next month. Alameda EMS' goal is to help us get up and running again, while we work individually to secure PPE in the supply chain for ourselves. You can easily access resources for PPE on our website.

We will be accepting donations! If you are a non-member, a donation to help cover the costs of our efforts can be applied to your dues if you become a member!
